Today, I welcome all of you to the Media Science Foundation.

My name is Andrew J. Diederich, my friends call me A.J.

I have a vision for the future of media. I want everybody who has a story to tell, to have access to the means to do so. Let’s give the power of storytelling to the people.

How will we achieve this?

Free education and training in the art of media production and journalism. In an age where we are increasingly influenced by large media and news corporations, we have never been in a position to better leverage technology to overcome the monopolistic tendencies of these voices. Let us decentralize the source of information that we consume.

At the same time, the integrity of information has never been under greater threat. It is my intention to research modern methods to authenticate information, including block-chain and other modern technologies.

How can you help?

There are two ways that people can help this cause. If you are knowledgeable on a topic that can assist learners, you can help by sharing this knowledge through educational content.

If you are not sure how to contribute information, but still wish to help the cause, you can support our efforts through donations and by spreading the message.

I will be following up soon with a formal introduction, but for now, stay sharp, and think critically.
